100 Facts about Kristy; because nobody really reads this shit unless you're suffering from extreme boredom or REALLY wanna know about me. :)
1. My parents decided to name me Kristy because they thought it was cute and easy to spell for me in Kindergarten. Unfortunately, most people can’t spell my name right.
2. I love old fashioned music boxes like the one from Anastasia. I’ve always wanted one, but don’t remember ever having one. I also love old record players and wish I had one.
3. I broke my collarbone in the fifth grade from doing “Extreme Gymnastics” I guess you could call it at my cousin’s house. It hurt really bad and I kept saying to myself “This is the worst day of my life.” on my way to the hospital. I was entirely wrong.
4. My best friend since the beginning of high school has been Rachel Wares. People might wonder why we’re best friends. Well, considering how chill we take things, how weird we get, and how close we’ll be no matter what, I couldn’t have picked anyone better. She’s more complex than most but she’s shown me alot and I’m glad she’s my best friend. We’re not BFF because we’re not living forever, let’s face it. But we’ll be best friends for a while, I guarantee it! :D
5. I probably NEVER get sick and if I do, it’s the kind of sick that normal people don’t get and may be fatal, which doesn’t happen often so don’t worry about it. I don’t think I’ve ever had allergies either.
6. I don’t cry much at anything unless I’m overly frustrated or it’s death related. If too many things are happening at once and I get exhausted but people keep yelling at me to keep going (example), I may start crying in frustration and it takes a friend to make my day better again.
7. I love hearing anything from my friends at 3am. I don’t know why but I’m always loopy after midnight and everything is funny to me. The dumbest comments made at that time are the best insiders.
8. My favorite color is black. I’m aware it’s a shade. But I count it a color. I like it because it’s so beautiful, mysterious, and elegant. Black works with basically everything. It’s an amazing creation.
9. Apparently, I’m really quiet and shy when you meet me. Let me tell you that this is why first impressions aren’t always correct. I’m actually loud and bubbly most of the time and can be your best friend at any moment. You just need to get to know me and break the ice because I sure as hell won’t.
10. I cannot stand needles. If anything pokes me or I feel a needle through my skin, I want to go back to when I was five and cry to my mom. I toughen it up, but I just hate the anticipation of waiting for that sting through my skin.
11. As a child, I was pretty much in love with Aaron Carter and wished I could be Hilary Duff.
12. People think I tell people they’re beautiful or wonderful , etc. because I’m kissing up and I don’t really mean it. I always give people the same compliments daily to remind them that they’re beautiful people inside and out, and that they shouldn’t let anyone tell them otherwise.
13. I don’t like going on vacations alone or even if it’s just me and my parents in the summertime. I feel the most lonely and depressed at those times and I’m the most vulnerable I ever will be. It gives me too much time to think about the depressing and I don’t like it at all.
14. I love making lists. I guess it’s because I’m organized but making lists make me feel like something’s going to get accomplished by the end of the day and I simply LOVE that feeling. (:
15. I have a younger half-sister named Carla who’s 10 years old who doesn’t live with me. I also have four stepsiblings all in their 20’s who do not live with me.
16. I’ve always wished for my own modern day fairytale for as long as I could remember. I always imagined I’d be awaken with a kiss like Snow White or lose a glass slipper like Cinderella. I guess I’m a hopeless romantic and my expectations for love are too high. But frankly, I don’t exactly care.
17. I overexaggerate things alot. Let’s say (HYPOTHETICALLY OF COURSE) I got stung by a bee. I’ll scream for an hour saying that I was going to die that night from all the pain. I know in my mind I’m not. But I do overexxagerate about it until the pain goes away.
18. I’m Costa Rican and Colombian. Everybody thinks I’m white. I am technically because I was born here but in my blood, I’m a Hispanic. Don’t hate. Appreciate. <3
19. The most nerve-wrecking thing I could ever do is sing centerstage alone in front of people. I’m pretty sure I’d faint or something right there if you put a spotlight on me and a fully functioning microphone. D; It’s the biggest fear I wish to face and get over it.
20. I always pick apart finger food into smaller pieces to eat it. I don’t know why I do, but I do. People always make fun of me for it when they figure this insignificant little fact out.
21. I have a youtube account that I sing in and I made it for critiques and advice. Unfortunately, I don’t get many comments. I want the Simon Cowells of Youtube to give me advice.
22. My favorite place in the world is my old Hawthorne house I lived in before Ringwood. Whenever I’m there or even in Hawthorne at all, I feel so at home and in touch with my childhood it’s insane. That’s why I love Hawthorne so much more than people realize.
23. Of everyone in the entire world, I only really hate one human being. Hate is a strong word. Only one person has the priviledge of getting that emotion from me. I know that sounds horrible. But I’m done being hurt repeatitively and miserable from the same lowlife person.
24. I tell my mom almost everything. She’s like the older sister I never had.
25. I used to hate designer anything and skirts and dresses. Now, I’m really into them. I guess through high school, I’m getting a better wardrobe. It’s kind of weirding me out though.
26. I think any romantic comedies on ABC Family around Valentine’s Day are just ways to depress single hopeless romantic people. Slasher flicks are way better for the season.
27. I cry at the thought of any of my family members or genuinely close friends dying. I never cry, except when I think of them being gone.
28. I’m learning to play piano and I want to learn violin, drums, and guitar before I die.
29. Whenever I’m in a bad situation, my two quotes I remember and live by are … “Three words can sum up what I’ve learned about life: it goes on.” & “In five years, will any of this matter?”
30. I LOVE giraffes more than any other animal. I want one. Legit, I want to own a giraffe.
31. My room’s walls are filled with pictures of my family, friends, and my own personal amateur photography. It reminds me everyday that there are people out there that care about me and that I’m NEVER alone. <3
32. I used to write alot and now I occasionally write in my journal. My favorite subjects to cover? Love. Obviously. I’m a teenage girl. What else would I talk about?<3
33. I first notice everyone’s smile when I first meet them. I love when people smile.
34. I love the smells of cinnamon and vanilla. Other weird smells I’m really into are paint, gasoline, freshly cut grass, detergent, my mom, sweet pea, nail polish remover, and candy factories.
35. I love the sound of John Mayer’s voice. It’s very peaceful. I’m a sucker for anything acoustic.
36. I always try to hold my breath when passing cemetaries. Kind of a respect for the dead sorta thing.
37. I’d rather talk on the phone than text you anyday. I like hearing your voice. I know what you’re feeling better that way. You don’t sound the same through a text like you do on the phone.
38. My first nickname that stuck was Crisp and it’s because my babysister friends just starting calling me that for the sake of a nickname, I’m pretty sure. I love it though. (:
39. I love the rain and the sound of the rain outside. I’d rather it rain than shine anyday.
40. I’m a late sleeper and probably always will be but strive to wake up early whenever I can to watch Boy Meets World.
41. I’m really into afternoon naps.
42. I drink iced tea almost everyday and my favorite drinks in the world is strawberry kiwi snapple and shirley temples. I like Coke when it comes to soda too.
43. I can live off bread if that’s all I had. I don’t even care about the weight thing. Bread is life. If I died from a bread overdose, I’d be fine because I lived happily with my bread.
44. I tend to want to follow my heart alot more than my head and think emotions are way more important than logic.
45. I love doodling and coloring in nothing on a blank sheet of paper.
46. I didn’t think I was afraid of heights until I climbed the stairs of a lighthouse in LBI and went to the top. I was scared then. So, I guess I am afraid of heights?
47. I only watch three shows currently airing religiously; Secret Life, Pretty Little Liars, and Huge. I’m planning on watching Season 2 of Jersey Shore too. I watch two reruned shows religiously too: Boy Meets World and Full House.
48. I love rollercoasters and thrill rides. I ADORE the adrenaline.
49. I don’t do sports or many extracurriculars because I’m afraid of other people judging me. Or I was.
50. I wish I was like Victoria Justice, Alyssa Bernal, Mia Rose, or Francia Raisa.
51. I’m really into creative photos, photography, and stop motion videos.
52. I’m recently incredibly obsessed with italian ice. <3
53. I’m 126 lbs to date. I know, scary.
54. I’m 5’3 and have been since hs started. I’m a junior now.
55. I’ve got a stepdad and stepmom and my family’s got so many complicated connections in which I always remember but other people get so confused about.
56. I can’t stand the sound of styrofoam.
57. I wish summer lasted forever but instead of the heat, it was winter’s weather.

59. I listen to music every single day and sing almost everyday.
60. Sometimes chocolate makes me nautious.
61. I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to die and have my ghost come back to see how my funeral turned out and who’d cry and who wouldn’t.
62. I tend to ramble on and on and on about a subject if I’m really into it. It’s a problem.
63. I’ve been to the entire east coast of the US and Costa Rica and Panama.
64. I need more confidence. I’m afraid to do alot of things. Yet, I’m not afraid to speak my mind.
65. My favorite class freshman year was French1. My favorite class sophomore year was Vocals.
66. I love standing in the rain on chill summer days. It’s an amazing sensation.
67. I hate bluegrass music but like pretty much everything else.
68. I wish I looked more Spanish.
69. I wish I had a boyfriend.
70. I don’t think before I speak so if I’m scared, I won’t speak at all.
71. I never take risks. Or at least almost never.
72. Of all the friends in my “group”, I’m the only Hispanic one. They’re all white mixes.
73. I don’t believe in purity rings.
74. I barely believe in any of the church’s teachings but I do believe in God.
75. I want to visit Australia, New Zealand, England, France, Spain, Colombia, Brazil, Africa, Russia, and Italy.
76. I’m a nailbiter trying to quit.
77. I want a VCR for my birthday.
78. I hate when adults tell me that I can’t make a living from my perferred careers. YOU don’t achieve my success. I can do anything if I work hard enough. Don’t try telling me otherwise.
79. My favorite books as a kid were The Giving Tree and The Tale of Desperaux.
80. The idea of studying anything medical, scientific, or mathematical bores me to tears.
81. I live on a lake and I hate it.
82. I never wear makeup besides lipgloss. (let’s face it, that’s not makeup.)
83. I used to make 11:11 wishes all the time. They never came true. Now, I make my dreams a reality.
84. I’m really into Mitchell Davis and Ashton Kutcher.
85. I love the movie Coraline because it’s very weird and original.
86. I was in the regional spelling bee for Herald News in the sixth grade. I lost in the 2nd round.
87. I have a picture of my parents when they first fell in love in my room. They’ve been divorced since ‘96.
88. My favorite candy’s probably Sour Patch.
89. I have a cat named Max, a guienapig named Spot, and two fish named Coraline and Casper. In my life, I’ve had guienapigs, a cat, fish, birds, turtles, and possibly a hermit crab or two.
90. I get my braces off in the next year or so. I wear glasses only when I need to for distance.
91. I’m not sensitive anymore. I hate oversensitivity.
92. I love visiting people I haven’t seen in a long time. It makes me smile and gives me a sense of home.
93. Boy Meets World is one of the only shows that can still make me laugh hysterically.
94. I might adopt kids when I’m older. Limit: 5.
95. I don’t really want to college. I’m just going to fullfill my dreams and not turn out living in a cardboard box.
96. The sky is my favorite subject to look at and take pictures of.
97. I want to go on alot of adventures before I die and be able to say “yeah, it was probably stupid and dangerous and I could’ve died. But I didn’t, and I bet you won’t be able to say that you did that and had a good time doing it.”
98. I love getting old fashioned mail from people or when friends call me. It gives me the sense that the internet didn’t completely take over life.
99. I have the kind of friends that you wouldn’t expect to be in the popular crowd or to have alot of friends. I have the weird people who embarass themselves publicly and aren’t into the latest trends. I have the type of friends you keep for life and will never turn their backs on you. I love those people.
100. If you’re nice to me, I won’t mind giving you the world. Kindness goes a long way.
